Sam Jansen
Sam started guiding in the Grand Canyon in the early ‘90s and by now his blood is mostly river water. He also guides on the mighty Alsek and other rivers in Alaska. Off the water he’s a writer and filmmaker. On the water he’s a menace with a bucket. He loves poems about pigs and stories about coyotes; hiking fast and far; and burying his boat in huge waves.
