Don Brookmeyer
Don has been coming down the Colorado River since 1993. He thinks it is the ultimate playground and best boating trip in the United States and is always having fun and learning from those around him. During the off season, he is usually skiing in Taos New Mexico. He has also spent winters traveling around the world kayaking and guiding in Chile, China, Costa Rica and Mexico. Don started guiding rafts in 1980 while getting his education in Durango, Colordo. He followed the mantra “learn to kayak and get a degree in your spare time”. Don loves CanX trips in the Canyon above all else because “there is always new stuff to learn and the camaraderie is outstanding”.
