Win Allen
Win’s interest in paddling began early on the rivers of southeast Pennsylvania and the lakes of Ontario. He has been guiding in the southwest since the early 1990’s and in Grand Canyon since 2001. During the off season, Win can be found skiing around the Wasatch Front, where he works as a ski patroller at Snowbird. Win is a Wilderness-E.M.T. and finds some time to teach for the Wilderness Medicine Institute in Lander, Wyoming. Originally from Pennsylvania, Win has a B.A. in Modern European History and Political Science from the University of Vermont.
